The systems engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT infrastructure and systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability. This role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams to support enterprise-wide technology initiatives, troubleshoot advanced system issues, and lead infrastructure upgrades and automation efforts.
Position Responsibilities
- Manages and monitors all installed systems and infrastructure for the organization to be in line with company guidelines or SOP (standard operating procedure).
- Defines customers’ needs and functionality in a service development cycle.
- Assists in the coordination of various teams testing and evaluating for the development of design and its implementation of the best output.
- Installs, configures, and tests operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Ensures the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability.
- Implements warranty and support activities.
- Evaluates the existing systems and provides technical directions to IT support staff.
- Plans and implements system automation as required for better efficiency.
- Oversee the development of customized software and hardware requirement.
- End user system and desktop support.
- Mac OS service management.
- Ensure IT services meet customer expectations within defined SLAs.
- Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including data centers, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), servers, and networks.
- Oversee network administration, server management, Office365 services.
- Proactively monitor system performance and address potential issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless IT operations and infrastructure scalability.
- Provide hands‑on support for incoming user requests related to computer systems, software, hardware, and Office365, including remote support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user and system issues, ensuring smooth onboarding of new employees.
- Installation, Maintenance, and upkeep of global Physical & Virtual compute and Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Deployments, Patching, Upgrade of ESXi.
- Work closely with vendors for issue resolution.
- Participate in scheduled systems maintenance activities during weekends and off hours.
