Job summary

Kalpataru Limited is seeking a Stores/Inventory Manager to aggressively reduce inventory across all Mumbai sites. You will monitor excess stock, coordinate inter-site transfers or disposal, and implement a 45‑day replenishment cycle for materials.

• Experience in inventory management and stock optimization.
• Ability to monitor, review and transfer excess stock across sites.
• Knowledge of replenishment cycles and reorder point setting.

Job description

Role & responsibilities :

• To ensure aggressive reduction in overall inventory across all sites.
• Monitor and review excess inventory at sites for transfer at other sites. Identify stock not usable and take action for disposal
• Re-order levels to be introduced for all materials for replenishment cycle of 45 days.
• Ensure timely disposal of scrap at site to manage space and accounting stock.
• Ensure smooth functioning of stores department by resolving pending cases with concerned departments.
• Ensure development of team members by assessing and reviewing training needs of stores team and arrange training required to support and achieve departmental goals.
