Job summary

Hormann, India seeks a Sr. Executive – Stores to manage receipt, storage, and issue of hardware materials for manufacturing.

You will ensure material availability, maintain 99% inventory accuracy, and drive FIFO/FEFO routines while complying with SAP MM processes and ISO standards. Responsibilities include GRN checks, QA coordination, 5S warehouse maintenance, and cross-functional collaboration with Purchase, Production, Quality, Finance, and Dispatch teams to minimize stock losses and support

Qualifications

• Graduate with understanding of inventory management principles.
• Experience in receiving, storage, and issue of materials.
• Familiarity with GRN, QA clearance, and FIFO/FEFO methods.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials against Purchase Orders and Delivery Challans.
• Verify quantity, quality, and documentation before GRN preparation.
• Coordinate with QA for inspection and material clearance.
• Ensure proper identification, labelling, and storage of materials.
• Maintain inventory accuracy of 99% or above.
• Prevent stock shortages and excess inventory.
• Daily MRP Run and update to Purchase Department.
• Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain records of inward, outward, stock movement, and reconciliation.
• Ensure proper stacking and material preservation.
• Maintain 5S standards in the warehouse.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, Finance, and Dispatch departments.
• Follow up with suppliers for shortages, damages, and discrepancies.

About the Role

The Sr. Executive – Stores is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, preservation, inventory control, and issue of hardware materials required for manufacturing operations. The role ensures material availability, inventory accuracy, SAP transaction compliance, FIFO implementation, and adherence to company policies, safety standards, and audit requirements while minimizing inventory losses and supporting uninterrupted production.
