The Senior Staff Nurse – OT supports the coordination of operating theatre activities and provides skilled perioperative nursing care. The involves supervising junior OT nurses, ensuring surgical readiness, maintaining sterile techniques, coordinating with surgeons and anaesthesia personnel, monitoring instrument and consumable availability, and ensuring compliance with surgical safety protocols. The Senior Staff Nurse also supports training, documentation, and quality improvement in the operating theatre.

• Coordinate operating theatre preparation for scheduled and emergency surgeries.
• Verify the readiness of surgical instruments, equipment, supplies, and sterile packs.
