Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in India is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer Technology Integration to own risk assessment and drive the integration of unit processes within the package platform. You will partner with Front-End teams to ensure seamless FE/BE interaction and support pre-development activities for next‑gen chip technologies.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving skills and 5+ years in IC/semiconductor packaging, with hands-on experience in risk management and 8D/T6S

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Semiconductor Technology or related fields)
• Minimum 5 years in the IC/semiconductor industry, with packaging, assembly, and test knowledge
• Excellent communication, collaboration, negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Experience applying 8D and T6S methodologies for issue resolution and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Own and lead Risk Interaction Assessment and Mitigation work packages
• Drive integration of unit processes (BOM and Process) within the package platform
• Serve as technical partner for Front-End teams on FE/BE interaction and integration topics
• Support pre-development activities for new chip technologies
• Act as driver or team member in 8D problem-solving activities to resolve issues
• Provide technical guidance on process interaction and integration to project teams
