Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in India seeks an Engineer Test Engineering to shape test development for power driver ICs within R&D. You will create and improve test packages, transfer tests to production sites, and collaborate with concept engineers and design teams.

You should have 5+ years in semiconductor test engineering, strong programming in C/C++ and Java, and hands-on experience with Teradyne ETS88/ETS800 or Advantest V93K to deliver robust, high-voltage test solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in test engineering for power driver ICs in semiconductors.
• Hands-on programming for test software and hardware.
• Experience with high voltage domains (e.g. 1000V) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance test packages (test cell, hardware, programs).
• Transfer FE wafer test and BE final test packages to IFX and subcontractors.
• Define test concepts, Test for Design, and test specifications with concept/design teams.
• Drive new ideas, manage risks, and push test-related innovations.
• Implement new test concepts for NPIs; analyze, debug, characterize testers.
• Identify improvements to reduce test time and costs in volume production.
• Optimize test packages through product lifetime; support yield monitoring.
• Handle electrical analysis for rejects; collaborate with engineering teams.
• Coach new engineers to build SME capability.
