Job summary

Merkle is seeking a Technical Lead for CDP platforms in Bengaluru to architect and deliver Salesforce Data Cloud solutions. Lead data models, ingestion pipelines, and integrations with MCP to enable unified customer profiles and personalized experiences.

You will collaborate with marketing, analytics, and engineering teams, ensure data quality and privacy compliance, and guide junior engineers while driving scalable data architectures across MarTech platforms.

We are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Technical Lead to architect and lead the delivery of solutions using Salesforce Data Cloud. This role is ideal for professionals who have hands‑on experience with Data Cloud, and a strong foundation in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Marketing Cloud Personalization (MCP).

You will be responsible for designing scalable data architectures, managing ingestion and activation workflows, and integrating Data Cloud with other MarTech platforms to enable unified customer profiles and personalized experiences. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including marketing, analytics, and engineering.

Must-Have Skills

• Hands‑on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, including data ingestion, unification, and activation
• Strong understanding of identity resolution, consent management, and customer profile stitching
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, especially MCP, Journey Builder, and Interaction Studio
• Proficiency in API integrations (REST, SOAP) and data connectors
• Strong skills in SQL, Python, or JavaScript for data manipulation and automation
• Experience integrating Data Cloud with MarTech platforms (e.g., ESPs, CRMs, analytics tools)
