You will design scalable test cases, develop automation frameworks, and contribute to CI/CD for reliable deployments while working across multiple time zones in a remote setup.

Role: Senior ServiceNow Developer

Experience: 10+ Years

Location: PAN India (Remote)

Notice period: Immediate to 15 days (Only who are serving notice period preferred)

Contract duration will be 6-12 Months and based on performance/project it will be converted to FTE.

We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Engineerwith proven expertisein hands-on development. This role is responsible forbuildingsolutions, configurations, scripting, integrationsand automation test frameworks(ATF)across the ServiceNow platform (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Event Management, Service Portal, and enterprise integrations). The ideal candidate will bring ServiceNowdevelopmentand Scripting experience including ServiceNow ATFswith strong skills in ATF, APIs, and JavaScript, bridging quality assurance and engineering delivery to ensure high-performing, scalable ServiceNow solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Hands-on ServiceNow Development

• Configure and customize applications, workflows, and integrations using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, Client Scripts, Business Rules, and UI Policies.
• Manage update sets, migration, and developmentlifecycleactivities.
• Collaborate with architects/developers to ensure testability in designs.
• Develop and support integrations using REST, SOAP, and Integration Hub.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline automation for faster, reliable deployments. Quality Engineering & Assurance
• Analyze requirements and ServiceNow specifications to design scalable test cases, data, and scenarios.
• Plan, execute, and document manual and automated testingacross ServiceNow modules, workflows, and integrations.
• Build and maintainautomation frameworks using ATF.
• Define and execute upgrade/patch test strategiesensuring high coverage and minimal disruption.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work with analysts, product owners, and developers to alignonrequirements and deliverables.
• Collaborating across multiple time zoneswith global teams.
• Actively participatein Agile ceremonies(refinement, planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
• Champion a quality-first mindsetacross engineering and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ yearsin software developmentand quality assurance, with 5+ years on Service Nowplatform.
• Hands-on proficiencyin ServiceNow development and scripting(JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, Catalog Scripts, Integration Hub).
• Expertisein one of the tools - ATF, Selenium, Postman, SOAP UI.
• Experience across ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog, CSDM, Discovery, Event Management.
• Strong knowledge of upgradelifecycle, patch testing, and defect management.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps automation.
• Skilled in test management/defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM).
• Bachelors or master's in computer science, IT, or related field.
• Preferred certifications: ServiceNow CSA, CAD, CIS (ITSM, Discovery, Event Mgmt.), ITIL v3/v4.

Talents Needed for Success

• 10+ years of proven experience in ServiceNow Development, manual and automation testing, with deep knowledge of ServiceNow modules(Some of these includeITSM, Service Catalog, CSDM, ITOM).
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)and external automation tools such as Selenium, Rest Assured, Postman, SOAP UI.
• Hands-on experience with API testing for ServiceNow integrations.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting(JavaScript, Glide APIs) to develop/modifyClient Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, Catalog Scripts, and Flow Designer logic.
• Experience with update setmigration, ServiceNow development lifecycle, and deployment processes.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow upgrades, patch testing, and defect management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to anticipate risks, enforce QA standards, and recommend improvements.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables, while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Proven ability to work in offshore–onshore delivery models, collaborating across multiple time zones with global teams.
