Job summary

UST in Bengaluru/Bangalore is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions across ITSM and FSO. This role requires 5+ years of hands-on SN development and deep expertise in ITSM modules, Flow Designer, CMDB, and integrations.

You will collaborate with architects, participate in Agile ceremonies, and support upgrades and testing while mentoring junior developers in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong experience with ITSM modules, including 2–3 of Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, CMDB, and Service Catalog.
• Hands-on experience implementing and customizing the Financial Services Operations (FSO) module.
• Expertise in Flow Designer and ServiceNow automation.
• Working knowledge of Service Catalog, Record Producers, and Request Workflows.
• Experience with CMDB configuration and maintenance.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems using REST/SOAP, MID Server, or IntegrationHub.
• Strong understanding of ITIL V3/V4 processes and Financial Services Operations processes.
• Experience with ATF (Automated Test Framework) and development of test scripts for regression/unit testing.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and scripting skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions across ITSM and FSO.
• Customize forms, workflows, business rules, UI policies/actions, client scripts, notifications, and automation based on business requirements.
• Develop Flow Designer flows, Scripted REST APIs, IntegrationHub integrations, and other automation solutions.
• Gather functional requirements from stakeholders and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Collaborate with architects and development teams to follow ServiceNow best practices and optimize platform performance.
• Develop custom applications and extend existing applications using Scoped Applications where required.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure solution quality and maintainability.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.
• Support ServiceNow upgrades, enhancements, testing, and regression activities.
• Maintain technical documentation, design specifications, user guides, and technical manuals.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers when required.
