Job summary

Staples India is seeking a Senior Security Analyst to act as a technical SME for Microsoft Entra ID. You will handle L2/L3 tickets, onboard apps, and ensure secure CIAM operations with MFA/passwordless authentication. The role involves shift-based work, automation, and SOP creation to boost productivity.

Required BE in CS/Info Sec with 4-7 years in operations support, plus 2–3 years in Entra ID. Experience with Okta/Ping/ForgeRock CIAM tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of operations support experience with Entra ID, Entra ID experience 2–3 years mandatory.
• Experience with CIAM solutions like Okta, Ping Access/Ping Federate, ForgeRock OpenAM is acceptable.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Security; BE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements related to minor enhancements, develop, test and deploy.
• Analyze and resolve L2/L3 tickets.
• Onboard applications in Entra ID using patterns: SAML, OAuth/OIDC, SCIM.
• Triag e and resolve production incidents, restore service within SLA.
• Automate routine tasks and create SOPs for L1 service desk.
• Guide security analysts in CIAM operations and enable cross-skilling.
• Drive continuous service improvements to automate L1 tasks.

The Senior Security Analyst should work as a technical SME for the Microsoft Entra ID solution, key delivery outcomes expected from this role are:

• Understand requirements related to MINOR enhancements, develop, test and deploy
• Analyze and resolve L3, L2 tickets
• Application Onboarding in Entra ID – Standard, out of the box patterns (SAML, OAUTH/OIDC, SCIM)
• Minimal hands-on experience in Customer IAM solutions like Ping Advanced Identity Cloud or ForgeRock Identity Cloud or Ping Access/Ping Federate
• Good understanding of MFA, Passwordless authentication (FIDO2) and Identity Proofing
• Triage & resolve production incidents, restore the service availability within SLA targets
• Automate assigned manual repetitive tasks, tickets, process gaps. To improve productivity and efficiency.
• Create SOP documents for L1 service desk team
• Guide the Security analysts and associates deployed for CIAM workstream
• Flexible working in shifts as per roster rotation.
• Cross-skilling, Up-skilling in other services under the scope of the CIAM Operations
• Beyond the above outcomes, driving continuous service improvements to automate manual L1/1.5 tasks.

Requirements

Education Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor's Degree: BE degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Preferred

Years of Experience: 4-7 years

Minimum 2-3 years of relevant support experience in Entra ID.

Basic Qualifications:

• 4-7 years of experience in operations support leveraging Entra ID. Other CIAM solutions like OKTA, Ping Access/Ping Federate, ForgeRock Open AM experience is acceptable, but Entra ID experience (minimum 2-3 years) is mandatory.
• Working in shift model as per roster rotation strategy

Technical Skills:

• Hands-on operations support experience in Entra ID. L2/L3 tickets, App Onboarding.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CIAM Implementation and Operations support experience.
• Exposure to Workforce access management implementation and multi-factor authentication.
• Scripting and Java development experience
