Job summary

Staples India seeks a Senior Security Analyst to act as a technical SME for the Microsoft Entra ID solution. The role focuses on L2/L3 ticket resolution, Entra ID onboarding, and CIAM operations with emphasis on automation and process improvements.

4–7 years in CIAM support, including Entra ID experience, and shift-based work compatibility are required. Bachelor’s in CS/IS and strong collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in operations support leveraging Entra ID.
• Other CIAM solutions like OKTA, Ping Access/Ping Federate, ForgeRock Open AM experience is acceptable, but Entra ID experience (minimum 2-3 years) is mandatory.
• Working in shift model as per roster rotation strategy.
• Team collaboration, Effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements related to MINOR enhancements, develop, test and deploy
• Analyze and resolve L2, L3 tickets
• Application Onboarding in Entra ID – Standard, out of the box patterns (SAML, OAUTH/OIDC, SCIM)
• Application customization – JavaScript driven
• Triage & resolve production incidents, restore service availability within SLA targets
• Automate assigned manual repetitive tasks, tickets, process gaps.
• Create SOP documents for L1 service desk team
• Guide the Security analysts and associates deployed for CIAM workstream
• Cross-skilling, Up-skilling in other services under the scope of the CIAM Operations

The Senior Security Analyst should work as a technical SME for the Microsoft Entra ID solution, key delivery outcomes expected from this role are.

• Understand requirements related to MINOR enhancements, develop, test and deploy
• Analyze and resolve L3, L2 tickets
• Application Onboarding in Entra ID – Standard, out of the box patterns (SAML, OAUTH/OIDC, SCIM)
• Application customization – JavaScript driven
• Minimal hands-on experience in Customer IAM solutions like Ping Advanced Identity Cloud or ForgeRock Identity Cloud or Ping Access/Ping Federate
• Good understanding of MFA, Passwordless authentication (FIDO2) and Identity Proofing
• Triage & resolve production incidents, restore the service availability within SLA targets
• Automate assigned manual repetitive tasks, tickets, process gaps. To improve productivity and efficiency.
• Create SOP documents for L1 service desk team
• Guide the Security analysts and associates deployed for CIAM workstream
• Flexible working in shifts as per roster rotation.
• Cross-skilling, Up-skilling in other services under the scope of the CIAM Operations

Beyond the above outcomes, driving continuous service improvements to automate manual L1/1.5 tasks.

Requirements

Education Requirements

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree: BE degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Preferred

Years of Experience: 4-7 years

Minimum 2-3 years of relevant support experience in Entra ID.

Basic Qualifications
