Job summary

Jainson Cables in Kochi is seeking a Sales Executive / Sr. Sales Executive to identify market gaps and build distributor channels across multiple regions.

The role involves creating dealer plans, supporting secondary sales, and forecasting regional targets to drive growth. With 1–3 years of experience and qualifications in mechanical or marketing, you will manage OEM relationships, receivables, and logistics coordination while reporting performance and proposing new services.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of sales experience is expected.
• Education requirements include B.E. Mechanical, MBA Marketing, or any graduate.
• Industry exposure across pumps, pipes, FMCG/paints is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify gaps in market for product placement and build distributor channels.
• Create dealer/distributor wise sales plans aligned with targets.
• Support channel distributors in secondary sales and stock liquidation.
• Evaluate channel potential in the territory.
• Attend enquiries received via CRM or direct channels.
• Prepare regional quarterly and annual forecasts and achieve targets.
• Develop and manage OEM relationships in the territory.
• Manage receivables and ensure timely collections.
• Coordinate with logistics for timely delivery of material.
• Suggest new services/products to management to improve satisfaction.
• Provide timely reports and MIS on performance.
• Assist in selecting and training salespeople for distributors if required.
• Address issues and propose prompt solutions.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by management.

Job Description

• Identify gaps in market for product placement and develop channel of distributors and dealers in the territory assigned.
• Create dealer/distributor wise sales plans in alignment with overall business targets.
• Support the channel of distributor/dealers in secondary sales in stock liquidation.
• Evaluate of channel with respect to overall potential of the area vis a vis potential of brand.
• Attend enquiries directly received or forwarded from the CRM team.
• Prepare channel / area wise quarterly and annual forecast and ensure achievement of the targets.
• Develop and manage the OEM relationships in the territory.
• Managing receivables of the assigned territory and ensuring timely collection.
• Forwarding sales order and coordinating with the logistics team for timely delivery of the material.
• Suggest new services / products to management to increase customer satisfaction.
• Timely Report and MIS on performance.
• Help select and train salespeople for distributors if required.
• Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions.
• Any other tasks or work assigned by the management.
