Job summary

SLTL Group - Sahajanand Laser Technology Ltd. is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer / Assistant Manager to drive new business opportunities and manage key accounts in the laser technology and industrial machinery space.

You will develop territory sales plans, coordinate machine trials, and lead a team in achieving aggressive sales targets while promoting CNC and laser solutions across customers in engineering sectors.

Qualifications

• Must have strong technical and sales knowledge of industrial machinery.
• Experience in CNC, laser equipment sales preferred.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and achieve assigned sales targets.
• Generate leads through customer visits, cold calling, exhibitions, and references.
• Promote industrial laser machines, including laser cutting, welding, marking, and engraving.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to order closure.
• Build strong relationships with existing customers and develop new accounts.
• Prepare quotations, techno-commercial proposals, and sales reports.
• Coordinate with application and service teams for machine trials, demonstrations, and installations.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
• For Assistant Manager: Manage key accounts, develop territory sales plans, and guide junior sales engineers where required.

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and achieve assigned sales targets.

• Assistant Manager – Sales: 6–8 years of relevant experience.

Preferred: Experience in industrial equipment, capital machinery, CNC, automation, or laser technology sales. A valid driving licence is desirable.
