Job summary

Bajaj Finance Limited in Gujarat is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a team, drive branch performance, and grow the consumer gold loan business while ensuring compliance and process discipline.

You will oversee field marketing, customer engagement, and valuation of pledged gold, build a healthy pipeline of leads, and mentor staff to deliver quality service and sustained growth. The role requires 4-7 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's or higher degree and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in gold loan banking or similar finance-sector roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in leadership and team mentoring preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations and performance profitability of the branch.
• Drive and participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility.
• Plan, conduct, monitor the branch field level marketing activities to ensure healthy pipeline of leads resulting in business conversion and branch growth.
• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions and retention of old customers.
• Conducting error-free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight and purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility for safekeeping of pledged securities as per company policies.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections.
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch and developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
• Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports, and taking necessary actions for growth of business in branch.
• Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCDs, Gold Coins sale etc.
• Responsible for correct valuation maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.

Job Summary

This position is open with Bajaj Finance Limited. The Branch manager is a managerial responsibility for providing full leadership and direction to the team of employees in growing business and client base of consumer gold loan. The overall objective of this role is to build customer loyalty and recommend the development of business strategies or initiatives and may include the management of activities by external organizations, and the direct management of individuals.
