Job summary

Bajaj finance limited is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a team and drive growth in the consumer gold loan segment. You will provide leadership, set strategy, and manage operations, customer acquisition, and compliance to develop the branch’s business and client base.

Responsibilities include end-to-end branch operations, field marketing to boost brand visibility, customer engagement, staff coaching, and maintaining 100% process compliance.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services.
• Experience in gold loan products or branch management preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations, performance profitability of the branch.
• Drive/participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility.
• Plan, conduct, monitor the branch field level marketing activities to ensure health pipeline of leads resulting into business conversion branch growth.
• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions and retainment of old customers.
• Conducting error free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of pledged securities as per company policies.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
• Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and take necessary actions for growth of business in branch.
• Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCD's, Gold Coins sale etc.
• Responsible for correct valuation maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.

The Branch manager is a managerial responsibility for providing full leadership and direction to the team of employees in growing business and client base of consumer gold loan. The overall objective of this role is to build customer loyalty and recommend the development of business strategies or initiatives and may include the management of activities by external organizations, and the direct management of individuals.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
