Job summary

Gallagher in India is seeking professionals skilled in debugging software and quality testing to improve performance across applications and systems. You will execute test plans, consult with engineers on issues, and contribute to audits and testing processes while leading a small, capable team.

Ideal candidates have a university degree and extensive experience, with strong communication and stakeholder management abilities to drive quality and collaboration across functions.

Qualifications

• University Degree with 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Preferred: debugging software, communication & stakeholder management, assurance & quality testing; troubleshooting, app development/programming understanding.

Responsibilities

• Specializes in debugging software using automated tests to achieve quality standards for applications, system products, and projects.
• Executes test plans to ensure program functionality and consults development engineers to address issues.
• Provides feedback for evaluation of programming languages, systems, and computation software.
• Develops, conducts, and evaluates application audits and testing processes.
• Manages a small to mid-sized team consisting of lower level Managers (M2) and seasoned Professionals.

How you'll make an impact

Responsibilities:

Specializes in debugging software using automated tests to achieve quality standards for applications, system products, and projects. Executes test plans to ensure program functionality and consults development engineers to address issues. Provides feedback for evaluation of programming languages, systems, and computation software. Develops, conducts, and evaluates application audits and testing processes. Manages a small to mid-sized team consisting of lower level Managers (M2) and seasoned Professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments.

Responsibilities typically include:

• Implementing function (ex. Data Analytics, IT Architecture, etc) and Division policies and strategies for short-term results (1 year or less).


• Handling problems that are difficult and moderately complex.


• Influencing others outside of own function regarding function policies, practices and procedures.


• Interfacing with other leadership and stakeholders within function and throughout the business.

About you

Qualifications:

• University Degree and minimum 7 years prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.

Preferred:

• Debugging software


• Communication and stakeholder management skills


• Assurance and quality testing; troubleshooting


• App development/programming understanding
