Job summary

Kumar Elastomech Pvt. Ltd. in India is seeking a seasoned QA/QC professional for Plastic Injection Molding. The role demands leadership of QA activities, manpower planning, and close coordination with Production and Dispatch to meet customer requirements.

The candidate should have 8-12 years of QA/QC experience in the injection molding sector, with exposure to automotive plastics and IATF 16949. Independent handling of daily QA tasks and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of QA/QC Plastic Injection Molding experience.
• Experience in the Automotive Industry / Plastic Injection Molding preferred.
• Capable of independently handling daily QA activities and manpower.
• Strong coordination with Production, Dispatch, Tool Room, Maintenance and Development teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet quality and customer delivery requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily QA activities as per production and dispatch requirements.
• Plan and allocate QA manpower and ensure effective utilisation across shifts.
• Coordinate with Production & Dispatch teams as per the daily plan to fulfil customer requirements.
• Ensure timely availability of quality-approved components for dispatch.
• Monitor in-process and final inspection of plastic injection molded components.
• Control rejection, rework, defects and process deviations.
• Ensure compliance with Control Plan, Work Instructions and inspection standards.
• Handle internal and customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct RCA, 5 Why, Fishbone, 8D and CAPA for quality issues.
• Coordinate with Production, Tool Room, Maintenance and Development teams for corrective actions.
• Monitor PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC and MSA documents.
• Conduct process/product audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
• Support IATF 16949, customer-specific requirements and internal/customer audits.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce rejection, rework and customer complaints.
