Job summary

Zafin invites an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead quality across our enterprise SaaS platform. You will design scalable automation, embed quality into CI/CD, and drive API, database, and end-to-end testing while mentoring engineers and advancing engineering excellence.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, and Architecture to deliver resilient, high-performing banking software. A strong background in automation tools and cloud-native apps is expected.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of experience in quality engineering or QA automation.
• Experience designing scalable automation frameworks.
• Hands-on API automation experience (Rest Assured/Postman), SQL, and backend validation.
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of performance testing, Kafka/event-driven systems, and cloud-native apps (Azure/Kubernetes).
• Ability to mentor teams and promote engineering best practices.
• Interest in AI-driven approaches to quality engineering.

What You'll Do

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you'll drive the quality engineering strategy for our enterprise SaaS platform, designing scalable automation frameworks and embedding quality throughout the software development lifecycle. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams to deliver resilient, high-performing solutions while championing modern quality engineering practices.

What We’re Looking For

We're seeking experienced Quality Engineering professionals (6–9 years) who think like software engineers and are passionate about building quality into every stage of the development lifecycle.

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

• Proven experience designing and building scalable automation frameworks.
• Strong expertise in Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation tools.
• Hands-on experience with API automation (Rest Assured/Postman), SQL, and backend validation.
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of performance testing, Kafka/event-driven systems, and cloud-native applications (preferably Azure/Kubernetes).
• A collaborative mindset with experience mentoring teams and influencing engineering best practices.
