Job summary

Zafin is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to redefine how quality is built into mission-critical banking software. You will design scalable automation frameworks across UI, APIs, backend services, and integrations.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, and Architecture to embed quality throughout the SDLC, lead testing efforts, mentor engineers, and explore AI-driven approaches to improve performance, resilience, and scalability.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of Quality Engineering experience with a focus on automation.
• Experience designing scalable automation frameworks for complex SaaS products.
• Strong knowledge of automation tools and API testing practices.

What Youll Do

We're not looking for someone to simply manage testing— we're looking for an engineering leader who can redefine how quality is built into mission-critical banking software.

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you'll drive the quality engineering strategy for our enterprise SaaS platform, designing scalable automation frameworks and embedding quality throughout the software development lifecycle. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams to deliver resilient, high-performing solutions while championing modern quality engineering practices.

What Were Looking For

We're seeking experienced Quality Engineering professionals (6–9 years) who think like software engineers and are passionate about building quality into every stage of the development lifecycle.

You'll be a great fit if you have:

• Proven experience designing and building scalable automation frameworks.


• Strong expertise in Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation tools.


• Hands-on experience with API automation (Rest Assured/Postman), SQL, and backend validation.


• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.


• Knowledge of performance testing, Kafka/event-driven systems, and cloud-native applications (preferably Azure/Kubernetes).


• A collaborative mindset with experience mentoring teams and influencing engineering best practices.
