Master Integrators is seeking a seasoned professional to lead proposals, estimation, and tendering for PLC, DCS, SCADA, and automation projects in Navi Mumbai. You will design system architectures, estimate I/O, select hardware, and prepare BOMs and cost sheets, while engaging in pre-bid discussions and client clarifications.
The role requires strong knowledge across Rockwell, Siemens, Honeywell, ABB, and Schneider platforms, with hands-on PLC/DCS exposure and proficiency in MS Office.
1. Proposals, Estimation & Tendering
Understand and interpret client requirements from RFQs, tenders, specifications, P&IDs, IO lists, and design documents.
Prepare complete techno-commercial proposals for PLC, DCS, SCADA, VFD, MCC, and automation projects.
Develop system architecture, panel sizing, I/O estimation, hardware selection, and network topology based on customer requirements.
Prepare and review BOMs, system configuration documents (SYSCON), technical datasheets, and cost sheets.
Participate in pre-bid meetings, technical discussions, clarifications, and negotiations with customers/consultants.
Ensure proposals are submitted with the First Time Right approach and represent optimized solutions in terms of cost, performance, and compliance.
Support sales and management with cost analysis, competitor comparison, and pricing strategies.
Provide pre-sales technical guidance, product education, and automation solution recommendations to customers.
Coordinate with SCM, Engineering, and Projects teams to ensure alignment on technical requirements, compliance, and documentation.
Support after-sales activities including technical clarifications and modification requirements.
Strong knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, and industrial automation systems (Rockwell, Siemens, Honeywell, Emerson, ABB, Schneider, etc.).
Understanding of VFDs, soft starters, intelligent MCCs, field instruments, and control panel design.
Experience with creating control system architectures, I/O lists, wiring concepts, and communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus, etc.).
Ability to work with engineering documents (P&IDs, GA drawings, SLDs, Datasheets, Cable Schedules).
Knowledge of Rockwell Automation systems (Allen-Bradley PLCs, FactoryTalk, Studio 5000, etc.) preferred.
Hands-on exposure to downloading and managing PLC/DCS programs is an added advantage.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
