Job summary

Alphaplan Nextgen Autorobotics seeks an experienced electrical automation engineer to design and develop electrical systems for automation machines and SPMs. You will prepare schematics with EPLAN/AutoCAD Electrical and program PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems using Siemens, Rockwell, or Mitsubishi platforms.

Role involves selecting drives, motors, sensors, PLCs and panels, performing panel design and wiring, and on-site commissioning and debugging.

Qualifications

• Experience designing electrical systems for automation machines and SPMs.
• Proficient in creating electrical schematics with EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical.
• Strong PLC, HMI, and SCADA development experience (Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi, etc.).
• Knowledge of drives, motors, sensors, PLCs, panels selection and control panel design.
• Hands-on ability to install, wire, and commission electrical systems at site.
• Familiarity with safety standards and electrical regulations.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical systems for automation machines and SPMs
• Prepare electrical schematics using software like EPLAN / AutoCAD Electrical
• Develop and program PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems (Siemens / Allen Bradley / Mitsubishi, etc.)
• Selection of electrical components such as drives, motors, sensors, PLCs, panels
• Perform panel design and wiring layout
• Handle machine commissioning, troubleshooting, and debugging at site
• Integrate robotics systems (if applicable) with PLC and automation systems
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations
• Coordinate with mechanical, design, and project teams for smooth execution
• Support FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test)
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation (BOQ, manuals, test reports)
• Provide technical support during installation and after-sales service

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems
• Hands-on experience in PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000, etc.)
• Experience in HMI/SCADA development
• Understanding of servo systems, VFDs, and motion control
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP)
