Job summary

ATS Global in Mumbai is seeking a Professional to join the Presales & Proposals team to drive industrial automation solutions, including PLC/SCADA, for our customers. You will understand requirements, develop technical proposals, conduct plant studies, and support project execution to deliver effective and cost-efficient automation solutions.

The role requires hands-on PLC/SCADA experience, strong communication, and the ability to present proposals; travel is involved.

Qualifications

• Experience in Automation & Control with hands-on implementation of PLC/SCADA projects in manufacturing plants.
• Strong knowledge of PLC hardware configuration and programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.).
• Good understanding of SCADA/DCS architecture.
• Knowledge of industrial protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, OPC DA/UA, MQTT, and REST.
• Understanding of protocol converters, PLC/SCADA networking, and instrumentation.
• Basic knowledge of IT-OT integration and networking.
• Experience with PLC/SCADA solutions in industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Metals, and Automotive is preferred.
• Good customer interaction, presentation, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand and document customer requirements.
• Conduct plant study visits to gather data from customer locations.
• Develop technical proposals based on customer requirements.
• Estimate service efforts for solution implementation.
• Present technical proposals to customers and obtain technical approval.
• Participate in customer and internal meetings.
• Coordinate with the Sales team to address customer requirements.
• Support the Project team during execution.
• Analyze competitor solutions and explore optimized, cost-effective solutions.
