Job summary

Subhasree Projects in Bidhannagar, India, seeks an experienced solar project engineer to oversee end-to-end execution of utility-scale, C&I, and rooftop projects. You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, logistics, and construction teams to ensure milestones are met and resources are allocated efficiently.

The role requires supervising site activities across civil, structural, electrical works, and module installation, while monitoring contractor performance and maintaining

Qualifications

• Knowledge of solar PV systems, BOS components, inverters, transformers, SCADA, and grid connectivity.
• Understanding of EPC project lifecycle and construction methodologies.
• Familiarity with electrical and civil installation practices.
• Knowledge of IEC, IS, NEC, and local regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera, AutoCAD, MS Excel and PowerPoint, and project reporting tools.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

Stakeholder & Procurement Coordination

• Serve as primary liaison between clients, consultants, vendors, contractors, and internal teams; represent project in review meetings.
• Facilitate approvals, inspections, and statutory compliances.
• Coordinate material/equipment delivery; monitor inventory, stock, and consumption records.

Quality, Safety & Commissioning

• Implement QA/QC procedures and enforce EHS standards; conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate pre-commissioning, testing, commissioning, and grid synchronization; ensure smooth handover with documentation.

Documentation & Cost Control

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports; maintain DPRs, MOMs, RFIs, NCRs, and site logs.
• Track KPIs, budgets, and expenditures; support billing, variation orders, and project closure.
  

Preferred candidate profile
