Job summary

Talent Corner HR Services seeks an experienced Design Architect to lead multiple projects, translate concepts into deliverables, and supervise a design team. You will collaborate with technical experts to ensure quality, documentation standards, and client satisfaction across complex schemes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Design Architect in a design consultancy or design-lead architect's office; international work experience preferred.
• Strong design and commercial acumen, with the ability to win and deliver work.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3DS Max, V-Ray, Lumion, Illustrator, Photoshop, and PowerPoint; experience with Rhino & Grasshopper (parametric modelling) is a plus.
• Sound knowledge of local building rules, regulations, and design guidelines.
• Working knowledge of sustainable design techniques and solutions.
• Excellent client-facing, presentation, and report-writing skills.
• Strong team player with proven coaching, mentoring, and people-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Appraise client briefs to produce concept and schematic designs; work closely with the technical team to deliver detailed design, tender documents, specifications, and site follow-up.
• Exhibit exceptional design, documentation, and graphic communication skills.
• Develop design concepts based on research and best practice case studies, bringing in updated global perspectives.
• Translate the Principal Architect's design concepts into preliminary sketches, drafts, and presentation materials for client review.
• Lead 23 projects simultaneously, proactively coordinating with structural, building services, infrastructure, and other sub-consultants.
• Supervise a team of architects and architectural technicians on a day-to-day basis to ensure design quality and documentation standards are met.
• Ensure design and documentation processes align with the firm's established standards and operating procedures.
• Take ownership of raising design principles and approach across the team.

• B.Arch from a reputed institute; M.Arch preferred.
• Membership of a recognized professional institution; Chartered/Certified architect or equivalent.
