Job summary

Covalense Digital, Bengaluru, seeks a seasoned Senior Program Manager with deep Telco BSS expertise to lead large-scale, multi-stakeholder programs across billing, CRM, order management and mediation.

You will manage cross-functional, onshore/offshore teams, govern program delivery end-to-end, and drive financial performance while engaging CXO-level clients to ensure strategic alignment and successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of IT/Telecom program and project management experience, with BSS focus.
• Experience delivering large-scale, multi-vendor BSS programs across billing, CRM, order management, and revenue assurance.
• Proven ability to lead global, matrixed delivery teams and manage program financials.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of large, complex BSS programs from planning to closure.
• Manage multiple concurrent programs in billing, CRM, order-to-cash, mediation, revenue management.
• Serve as primary governance lead with CXO-level client engagement.
• Drive program financials: revenue forecasting, budgeting, margin management, cost control.
• Mentor onshore/offshore delivery teams including PMs, architects and delivery leads.
• Manage risk, scope and change across parallel workstreams within SLAs and contracts.
• Support pre-sales with solutioning inputs and expansion of client engagements.
• Establish and enforce PM best practices, governance cadences and reporting.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Program Manager with deep domain expertise in Telecom BSS to lead large-scale, complex, multi-stakeholder programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering high-value transformation programs across billing, CRM, order management, mediation, revenue assurance, and related BSS domains, while managing large cross-functional teams and significant program/P&L responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of large, complex BSS programs — from planning and mobilization through execution, stabilization, and closure.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects/programs within the Telco BSS landscape (billing, charging, CRM, order-to-cash, provisioning, mediation, revenue management, etc.).
• Serve as the primary point of accountability for program governance, client relationships, and executive stakeholder management, including CXO-level engagement with telecom operators/clients.
• Drive program financials — revenue forecasting, budgeting, margin management, and cost optimization across projects.
• Lead and mentor large, matrixed delivery teams (onshore/offshore), including project managers, architects, and delivery leads reporting into the program.
• Manage risk, scope, and change control across multiple parallel workstreams; ensure adherence to SLAs, quality benchmarks, and contractual commitments.
• Drive pre-sales and account growth support — solutioning, proposal inputs, and expansion of existing client engagements.
• Establish and enforce program management best practices, delivery frameworks, and governance cadences (steering committees, status reporting, escalation management).
• Ensure alignment between business objectives, technology roadmap, and delivery execution.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 18+ years of overall experience in IT/Telecom program and project management, with a significant portion focused on Telecom BSS.
• A demonstrated track record of successfully managing a broad portfolio of sizeable BSS programs and projects, each involving meaningful revenue value and substantial team footprints.
• Strong functional and technical understanding of BSS components: Billing & Charging, CRM, Order Management, Mediation, Revenue Assurance, Product Catalog, etc.
• Proven experience managing global, multi-vendor, multi-geography delivery teams.
• Strong track record of managing program financials, revenue targets, and margin accountability.
• Excellent stakeholder management, client relationship, and executive communication skills.
• PMP / PRINCE2 / SAFe Agile certification preferred.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
