Job summary

Bean Hr Consulting in Gurgaon is seeking a Senior Product Manager Payments to own and drive payment products and journeys, with a strong focus on eNACH, Standing Instructions, recurring payments, mandates and automated collections.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in digital payments product management, working with banks, NPCI and fintech partners to build scalable, compliant payment solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of overall experience with significant Payments Product Management experience.
• Strong understanding of Indian digital payment ecosystem.
• Hands-on product experience in eNACH/NACH, mandates, Standing Instructions or recurring payments.
• Experience working with banks, NPCI, payment aggregators/gateways or fintechs.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, PRDs, user stories, UAT and product analytics.

Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy, roadmap and lifecycle for payment products.
• Drive end-to-end product development from concept to launch, adoption and optimisation.
• Define and improve customer journeys for mandate creation, authentication, registration, modification and cancellation.
• Work closely with NPCI, banks, payment gateways and ecosystem partners.
• Translate business requirements into PRDs, user stories, product flows and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with Engineering, UX/UI, Risk, Compliance and Operations for delivery.
• Analyse product metrics such as success rate, transaction flows and revenue.
• Identify opportunities to improve payment success rates and customer experience.
• Own product launches, UAT, go-live and post-launch monitoring.
• Manage payment-related incidents and escalations with tech and ops teams.
• Ensure compliance with RBI, NPCI and applicable regulations.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking and identify trends in digital payments.

About the Role

Looking for a Senior Product Manager Payments to own and drive payment products and journeys, with a strong focus on eNACH, Standing Instructions, recurring payments, mandates and automated collections.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in digital payments/product management, working closely with banking partners, NPCI, payment networks, technology and business teams to build scalable and compliant payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy, roadmap and lifecycle for payment products, particularly eNACH,NACH mandates, Standing Instructions and recurring payments.
• Drive end-to-end product development from conceptualisation and requirement gathering to launch,adoption and optimisation.
• Define and improve customer journeys for mandate creation, authentication, registration,modification, cancellation, execution and failure handling.
• Work closely with NPCI, banks, payment aggregators, payment gateways and other ecosystem partners.
• Translate business requirements and customer needs into detailed PRDs, user stories, product flows and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with Engineering, Technology, UX/UI, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Legal and Business teams for successful product delivery.
• Analyse product metrics such as success rate, mandate registration rate, transaction success/failure, drop-offs,TAT, adoption and revenue.
• Identify opportunities to improve payment success rates, customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Own product launches, UAT, go-live and post-launch monitoring.
• Manage payment-related incidents, exceptions and escalations in collaboration with technology and operations teams.
• Ensure products comply with RBI, NPCI and applicable payment ecosystem regulations and guidelines.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking and identify emerging trends in digital payments, recurring payments and mandate-based collections.
• Build scalable payment solutions that can support high transaction volumes and multiple use cases.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of overall experience, with significant experience in Payments Product Management.
• Strong understanding of Indian digital payment ecosystem.
• Hands‑on product experience in eNACH/NACH, mandates, Standing Instructions or recurring payments.
• Experience working with banks, NPCI, payment aggregators/gateways or fintechs.
• Strong understanding of payment journeys, APIs, transaction flows, reconciliation and payment failure scenarios.
• Excellent understanding of product lifecycle management, PRDs, user stories, UAT and product analytics.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across Product, Engineering, Business, Risk, Compliance and Operations.
• Data‑driven approach with the ability to use metrics to identify product and business opportunities.
