Job summary

Paytm Payments Services in India seeks a Senior Product Manager to own and scale the international payments charter. You will oversee merchant onboarding, settlement, and payout experiences, coordinating with card schemes, banks, and solution partners to deliver compliant, scalable products for multiple markets.

You will work with engineering, compliance and business teams to drive roadmaps, influence decisions, and remove technical roadblocks, while focusing on customer outcomes and revenue

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience with exposure to payments infrastructure.
• Experience in merchant payments and global fintech environments is preferred.
• Experience launching products in new markets is advantageous.
• Strong execution focus in high‑scale environments.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end product roadmap for international payments, including onboarding and settlement.
• Lead integrations with card schemes, vendors, FX providers, and open banking aggregators.
• Design onboarding, settlement and reconciliation features complying with regulatory requirements.
• Drive cross‑functional execution across product, engineering, compliance and business teams.
• Write PRDs and manage roadmaps, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment.

Role Overview:-

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and scale Paytm’s International Expansion charter. This role requires deep hands‑on experience in payment products across acquiring, gateways, banking and card scheme integrations, merchant onboarding, settlement systems and merchant experience.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Own the end-to-end product roadmap for international payments: merchant onboarding, card acceptance, clearing, settlement and payouts, reconciliation, merchant experience.
• Lead integrations with card schemes, onboarding vendors, the card switch, settlement banks, terminal vendors, FX providers and open banking aggregators.
• Design onboarding, settlement, reconciliation, payment, merchant features that meet the regulatory requirements of each market.
• Drive cross‑functional execution across product, engineering, compliance, and business teams.
• Work with solution architects and engineering leads, write detailed product requirement documents, and manage roadmaps and deliverables.
• Work with multiple stakeholders, senior management and cross‑functional teams to influence quicker decisions and clear technical roadblocks.

• 5+ years of product management experience with strong exposure to payments infrastructure.
• Prior experience in merchant payments and global fintech environments.
• Exposure to launching new products in a new market is a strong advantage.
• Strong execution focus with the ability to operate in complex, high‑scale environments.
