Job summary

Leighton Asia in Mumbai requires a seasoned Procurement Manager for Civil Bulk Materials projects to lead end-to-end sourcing, vendor prequalification, and contract negotiations. You will coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Planning, QA/QC, and Commercial teams to ensure timely delivery within budget and compliance with project specifications.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 15–20 years of experience, minimum 5 years as Procurement Manager for Civil Bulk Materials Projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of construction materials, equipment, plant, and subcontract packages.
• Source, prequalify, and maintain an approved vendor and subcontractor database.
• Prepare RFQs, tender documents, bid evaluations, and award recommendations.
• Lead negotiations and finalize procurement agreements.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Planning, QA/QC, and Commercial teams to meet project requirements.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders, supply contracts, and subcontract agreements.
• Ensure compliance with procurement procedures, project specifications, and statutory requirements.
• Ensure procurement activities are completed within budgets and timelines.
• Ensure contractual compliance and mitigate procurement-related risks.
• Prepare and present procurement status reports to project management.
