Job summary

Arul Group in Chennai is seeking a procurement professional to manage civil construction material sourcing, vendor development, quotations, and purchase orders. The role requires coordinating with site engineers to ensure timely deliveries and maintaining procurement records for smooth project execution.

The candidate should have a civil engineering background with extensive experience in civil procurement, strong negotiation and communication skills, and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 37 years of procurement experience in civil construction, real estate, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and supplier network.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience in handling multiple project procurement requirements.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP MM or equivalent.
• Ability to work under deadlines and coordinate effectively with site teams.
