Job summary

SOBHA is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Executive to lead procurement, vendor development and supplier management in the furniture/interiors/manufacturing space. The role requires strong negotiation, market-sourcing, and relationship-building with vendors across local markets and states. Travel for vendor development may be required.

The candidate will manage RFQ/RFP processes, evaluate quotations, and ensure timely procurement while monitoring supplier performance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years of relevant procurement/purchase experience.
• Strong experience in vendor development and supplier management.
• Experience in Furniture, Interiors, Manufacturing or related industries is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and commercial skills.
• Good knowledge of sourcing and procurement processes.
• Strong market research and supplier identification skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good email drafting and professional correspondence skills.
• Strong analytical and MIS reporting skills.
• Ability to independently develop new vendor networks.

SENIOR PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Executive with strong expertise in procurement, vendor development and supplier management. The candidate should have relevant experience in the furniture, interiors or manufacturing industry, along with strong negotiation, communication and market-sourcing skills.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Develop, identify and onboard new vendors and suppliers.
• 2. Build and maintain a strong and updated database of reliable and competent vendors.
• 3. Proactively identify new suppliers, materials, products and manufacturing sources.
• 4. Explore local markets, other states and major manufacturing hubs to identify potential suppliers.
• 5. Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing vendors.
• 6. Handle the complete RFQ/RFP process, including quotation evaluation and comparison.
• 7. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and commercial terms with suppliers.
• 8. Conduct periodic market and price reviews and share updates with management.
• 9. Prepare PO/SO/WO and other procurement documents as per company policies and approval procedures.
• 10. Monitor supplier performance, quality, delivery and service levels.
• 11. Resolve delivery delays and coordinate with vendors for timely material availability.
• 12. Coordinate with vendors regarding defective materials and arrange replacements whenever required.
• 13. Conduct vendor evaluations and maintain relevant supplier performance records.
• 14. Reconcile vendor accounts and coordinate to resolve payment-related discrepancies.
• 15. Prepare periodic MIS reports and procurement-related data.
• 16. Monitor procurement budgets and report cost deviations.
• 17. Analyse procurement data and identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement and operational efficiency.
• 18. Stay updated on new materials, suppliers, manufacturing clusters and market developments relevant to furniture and interiors.
• 19. Coordinate with internal teams to understand material requirements and ensure timely procurement.
• 20. Maintain clear and professional communication with vendors through calls, emails and meetings.
• 21. Be willing to travel to local markets, supplier locations, manufacturing hubs and other states for vendor development and sourcing activities.
