Strategic Sourcing:Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to identify and engage reliable suppliers of raw materials, components, and finished goods for furniture production. Evaluate supplier capabilities, conduct negotiations, and establish long-term partnerships to secure favorable terms and conditions. Vendor Management:Manage relationships with existing suppliers and actively seek out new suppliers to diversify the vendor base and mitigate supply chain risks. Monitor supplier performance, quality standards, and adherence to delivery schedules, implementing corrective actions as necessary to ensure consistency and reliability.3. Procurement Operations:Plan and execute procurement activities in accordance with production schedules, inventory levels, and budgetary constraints. Generate purchase orders, review contracts, and coordinate the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.4. Cost Optimization:Conduct market research and analysis to benchmark prices, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and optimize procurement spend without compromising product quality or specifications. Negotiate pricing, terms, and discounts with suppliers to achieve cost reductions and improve profit margins.5. Inventory Management:Collaborate with inventory control teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory carrying costs. Implement inventory tracking systems, conduct regular audits, and develop inventory replenishment strategies to support production demands and customer orders. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to establish quality standards, specifications, and inspection criteria for incoming materials and finished products.
