Job summary

Shapoorji Pallonji Group is seeking a senior civil planning professional with 8–15 years of experience to lead resource planning for tenders and progressive projects.

The role requires coordination with multiple departments, preparing detailed construction programmes, procurement schedules, and shop drawings, as well as managing time-related correspondence and post-construction claims support.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech. (Civil) with 8–15 years of experience from a reputed institute with good academic performance.
• Experience handling academic/educational institutes/university projects.
• Knowledge of Primavera scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Development of resource planning for the Tender and progressive projects and coordinating with relevant departments for successful execution.
• Prepare and update: project detailed construction programme, material procurement schedule, shop drawings schedule, cost loaded schedule, labour histograms, weekly/monthly programmes.
• Follow-up subcontractors programmes and manage time-related correspondence with engineers/subcontractors.
• Prepare and issue weekly/monthly reports to Head Office or Client; attend site coordination meetings.
• Maintain project As Built Programme and track production rates for equipment and labour across trades.
• Prepare time impact programs to substantiate claims (if applicable) at post-construction stage.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Development of resource planning for the new Tender & progressive projects and to co-ordinate with relevant departments as required for the execution of the works successfully
2. Preparation, submission, follow-up and updating of:
   • a. Project detailed construction programme
   • b. Project material procurement schedule.
   • c. Project shop drawings schedule.
   • d. Project cost loaded schedule.
   • e. Project labour histograms.
   • f. Project short term programmes (weekly, monthly)
3. Follow-up subcontractors programmes.
4. Initiation / responding to all planning/time related correspondence to Engineers/subcontractors.
5. Preparation and issue of necessary reports (weekly, monthly) to Head Office and/or Client.
6. Attend all site coordination meetings with the Engineer / Subcontractors.
7. Preparation and maintenance of the project As Built Programme.
8. Maintenance of production rates for equipment and labour for all trades.
9. Liaison, preparation, and issue of all time impact programs to substantiate/support claims (if applicable) at the post-construction stage.
10. Prepare feedback for all production rates of all tasks at the post construction stage

Desired candidate profile:

1. B.E./B.Tech. (Civil) with a minimum of 8-15 years of experience from a reputed institute with good academic performance.
2. Should have experience handling academic/educational institutes/university projects.
3. Should have knowledge on Primavera.
