Job summary

B L Kashyap and Sons (BLK) is seeking an experienced Construction Planning professional in Bengaluru to develop and manage detailed project schedules for high-rise builds. You will ensure baselines, monitor progress, and coordinate with multiple teams to keep critical paths on track.

The role requires hands-on Primavera P6 expertise, strong MS Excel skills, and the ability to perform recovery planning and MIS reporting to support project milestones and timelines.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of total relevant experience in construction planning.
• Mandatory experience in high-rise building construction projects.
• Hands-on experience in planning and scheduling of high-rise buildings.
• Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 is mandatory.
• Good understanding of construction sequencing, project monitoring, and schedule control.
• Experience in baseline preparation, progress updating, critical path analysis, and recovery planning.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and project MIS/reporting.
• Good coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
• Develop baseline schedules, monthly plans, weekly plans, and look-ahead schedules.
• Monitor project progress against the approved baseline and identify delays/deviations.
• Track critical activities, milestones, and the critical path.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, procurement, contracts, and other project teams.
• Collect and verify actual site progress and update project schedules.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and MIS.
• Analyze schedule slippages and prepare recovery / catch-up plans.
• Assist in manpower, material, equipment, and resource planning.
• Identify project risks that may impact the schedule and highlight them to management.
• Participate in project review meetings and present progress and planning updates.
• Support delay analysis and preparation of EOT-related documentation, wherever required.
• Ensure proper sequencing and coordination of construction activities.
• Maintain planning records, schedules, progress measurement, and project documentation.
