Job summary

JLL in India is seeking a Senior Occupancy Planner to support client occupancy strategy and space management within corporate workplace programs. You will partner with the NA OP team and client GREF to drive integration and ensure consistency across planning processes, including EMEA & APAC regions and the global portfolio.

What this job involves:

As Senior Occupancy Planner, you will support the client's occupancy strategy and space management within the framework of corporate workplace programs, metrics, and real estate strategy. Reporting to the Occupancy Planning Manager Lead in North America, you will partner closely with the NA OP team and the client's GREF team, driving integration. You will serve as the single point of contact for quality control in terms of consistency in planning processes, procedures, and protocols, solutions for your portfolio. You will understand the real estate strategy for all buildings and businesses in your portfolio, acting as the main point of contact for occupancy planning initiatives and their implementation focused on EMEA & APAC regions and support the global portfolio when needed.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Apply and validate headcount projections by business unit to analyze the client's portfolio and identify opportunities to optimize space.
• Develop occupancy scenarios to support business and GREF requirements, analyze occupancy and attendance metrics.
• Track and report projected versus actual headcount by organization, developing city and site-specific occupancy strategies with GREF Leadership and occupancy planning.
• Report current capacity, collect preliminary program requirements for each organization and team, and develop migration plans and sequencing of org-level moves.
• Develop stacking diagrams of current and future state based on headcount forecasts, obtain organizational alignment on migration and stacking plans by partnering with client occupancy planning, and coordinate scope and phasing schedules for project implementation.
• Create tests fit on AutoCAD when required.
• Utilizing a CAFM/IWMS database, managing allocations and maintaining data accuracy.
• Recommend and apply space policies, standards, procedures, and protocols, educate and ensure compliance on planning and space policies, and report and maintain quarterly org-level space allocation plans for a yearly allocations issue.
• Review virtual Site Audit Data (including seat assignments, occupancy, vacancy, labs) and partner Facilities and SDI contacts for validation needs and timing.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5-8 years of experience in a corporate real estate environment
• Previous experience in space/occupancy planning.
• Demonstrated expertise in relationship-building and management, with the ability to work collaboratively across all organizational levels, handle sensitive information with discretion and sustain positive working relationships while supporting team objectives.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex calculations) and understanding of floor plans. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to consolidate data and floor plans into clear PowerPoint presentations, along with experience in CAFM/IWMS software.
• Strong presentation, active listening, and effective communication skills across diverse audiences.
• Familiar with AI tools and integrating them into daily workflows and deliverables.
• Ability to thrive in dynamic and ambiguous work
