Position: Space Planning AutoCAD Analyst

Managing space portfolios How do you manage space through data? As a subject matter expert, you'll manage capacity, demand and supply. Driving occupancy plans, sequencing group or individual level moves, and resolving planning issues will be your responsibility. While you recommend and enforce policies and procedures, maximizing space under all scenarios and driving solutions to increase productivity will be your goal.

Key stakeholder management

One of your key responsibilities will be to foster critical relationships with various stakeholders, which will need you to establish crisp and fast communication channels. Planning the projected requirement versus actual need will need your attention, as you assist senior leadership in site-specific planning strategies and guide other members of the occupancy planning team to develop cross-campus portfolio strategies.

Monitoring and reporting

You'll also be accountable for preparing and updating accurate project status reports, for which you'll work closely with the client to reconcile discrepancies. Likewise, this will demand your familiarity with typical occupancy metrics and industry occupancy trends.

• Solid background: A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Diploma in Architecture, or Civil Engineering is what you must have along with 2-5 years of experience in a corporate real estate environment. Previous experience in space/occupancy planning at a strategic level, plus experience with interior office renovations is highly desirable. CAFM system experience and IBM training background are preferred.
• Tech-savvy: How tech-savvy are you? Do you utilize software to support solutions and communicate ideas? You will be successful if you have advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, proficiency in AutoCAD for fit-out plans, and ability to consolidate data and floor plans into PowerPoint presentations. Your ability to ask the right questions, think strategically and make appropriate decisions to find solutions for our clients will be highly useful.
• Dynamic: Excellent communication, both written and spoken, and strong interpersonal skills are essential. Besides, it would help if you're self-motivated while inspiring others.
