Job summary

GOOD MONK (Superfoods Valley Pvt. Ltd.) seeks a Lead Product Scientist to drive the innovation pipeline, creating unique nutrition products with strong clinical backing. The role requires a strong regulatory mindset, leadership, and clear communication with marketing to simplify nutrition messages.

You will represent the company at external forums and mentor the nutrition team, while engaging with health professionals to build affiliate networks across India and beyond.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a practicing nutritionist with 5–6 years of experience.
• MSC/ PhD in Nutrition.
• Excellent presentation & communication skills.
• Experience in a startup is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead product science across the innovation pipeline; build unique, differentiated product formulations with evidence.
• Be the regulatory expert; mentor, train, and guide on regulatory matters.
• Collaborate with marketing to test and scale nutrition messaging.
• Represent the company at external forums (e.g., IDA/PFNDAI/ILSI) and work with India/global experts.
• Assist CX team with customer nutrition queries related to products.
• Guide nutrition team in building affiliate channels with health experts.

Candidate role

• Lead product science across the innovation pipeline. Build product formulations that are unique, & differentiated vs category. Clinical efficacy is a key deliverable for all projects.
• Be the regulatory expert in the team. Needs to mentor, train, guide & hold accountability on all matters related to regulatory
• Product science communication – Work with marketing across core products to test & scale communication ideas which make nutrition easy.
• Represent the company across external forums to talk about Good Monk & related science. Also work collaboratively with external forums like IDA/PFNDAI/ ILSI etc.
• Help cx engagement team clarify on customer queries related to product
• Guide other nutrition team members in building affiliate channel with health experts & nutritionist

Candidate Qualification & Experience

• Proven experience as practicing nutritionist with a min 5-6 year’s experience
• MSC/ PHD in Nutrition
• Excellent presentation & communication skills
• Experience in a start-up will be a plus
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
• Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
• Capable of working with senior leaders directly
• Experience working in D2C/Health & Wellness/Personal Care/Beauty/Any consumer brands.
