Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. seeks a senior Quality Manager to oversee quality across manufacturing and warehousing operations in Maharashtra. You will lead quality teams, drive system-wide improvements, and ensure compliance with TQM standards.

The role requires 10–15 years of experience in quality functions within auto, FMCG, or e‑commerce settings, and strong SAP QM/ MM knowledge, auditing, and leadership skills. On-site role with cross-functional exposure.

• B. Tech / B.E (minimum qualification).
• 10-15 years of experience including Quality function in Manufacturing, Warehousing - preferably in Auto / FMCG / e-commerce companies.
• Systems/ SAP knowledge: SAP QM Module, SAP MM, Warehouse Management Systems, EWM, IM
• Any Additional Knowledge: TQM & Deming application

Job description

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:

• Lead Quality function such as Receipt Quality, In‑Process Quality, and Field Quality across a cluster of warehouse locations through a team of Quality Managers.
• Implement and strengthen centralized quality systems including TQM, IMS, audits, and other organizational quality initiatives.
• Oversee Value Fit Parts development through drawing approvals, VPPAP approvals, and monitoring receipt quality performance.
• Partner with Operations and cross-functional teams to drive process simplification and IT-enabled quality improvements.
• Process Improvement & Business Excellence
• Drive process improvement initiatives across functions using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and other methodologies.
• Manage business intelligence and knowledge management systems to support data-driven decision-making.
• Identify improvement opportunities with business/functional leaders and ensure effective execution of prioritized projects.
• Technical & Advisory Support
• Provide expert guidance on Six Sigma methodologies, statistical tools, and problem‑solving frameworks.
• Mentor project leaders, monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely project completion.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and capability-building across teams.
• Internal Collaboration
• Work closely with business and functional heads to align quality initiatives with organizational goals.
• Ensure seamless implementation of systems, technologies, and improvement projects across units.
