Qualifications

• Degree in engineering (B.E./B.Tech) with MBA preferred.
• Strong analytical and process improvement capabilities.
• Experience in supplier quality and warehouse operations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Handle dealer and warehouse claims and complaints to drive customer satisfaction.
• Analyze claims and drive process improvements in warehouse.
• Analyze packaging issues reported by dealers and implement actions.
• Minimize financial claim rate to boost satisfaction and reduce losses.
• Reduce financial losses by packaging improvements and process changes.
• Support ISO 9001:2015 documentation and process standardization to reduce rework.
• Maintain all departmental process documentation and update as processes change.
• Conduct product audits for outbound dispatch lines per guidelines.
• Perform pre-dispatch inspection of packed shipments.
• Identify gaps in people and process to enable improvements and skill enhancements.
• Monitor handling of Special Notice parts to prevent obsolete items being sold.
• Manage inbound quality inspection and perform 8D for non-conforming parts, with chargeback.
• Create non-conformance reports and drive supplier improvements.
• Drive improvement actions at suppliers.
• Aim to achieve turnover/volume targets and keep warehouse costs within budget.
• Perform 5S and continuous improvements to warehouse processes.
• Prepare LoPA audits per VDA 6.3 and guidelines; plan annual warehouse audits.
• Follow up and close action points with warehouse involvement.
• Initiate improvement projects and idea management to reduce losses and costs.
• Train 3PL on VW guidelines and standards

Key Responsibilities &Tasks

Description

Handling/Resolution of Dealer & Warehouse Claims and Complaints in timely manner which leads to Customer Satisfaction

• Claims analysis and drive process improvement actions within warehouse.
• Analysis/actions on the packaging related issues reported by dealers

Minimizing Financial claim rate which leads to Customer Satisfaction and reduction in losses to Organization and Customer

• Reduction in Financial Losses by Packaging Improvements for repeated Claims, Process Improvements

Support in central ISO 9001:2015 documentation, Process Improvements and healthy Warehouse Processes and reduction in reworks which leads to Process Improvements/Standardization within Organization Reduction in Rework/Rejection which leads to Customer Satisfaction and reduction losses to Organization.

• Maintaining/managing all departmental process documentation.

Timely updation of the process documents as per requirements/change in process.

Conducting Product Audit for Outbound dispatch lines as per Group Guidelines

• Pre dispatch inspection of Packed shipments .
• Helps identifying the Gaps in people & process leading to Process Improvements and Skill enhancements.

Monitoring of Handling of Special Notice Parts received from Kassel/MB which prevents obsolete parts being sold to Customer.

Manage and maintain Quality Inspection of Inbound Goods and perform 8D for Non-Conforming parts from supplier followed by Chargeback

• Creating non-conformance report in KPM–Halle system followed by chargeback.
• Driving improvement actions at supplier’s.

Achieving Companies AS turnover and volume targets and Warehouse operations cost within budget

Performing Conditional Monitoring/5S Activity followed by further improvements in Warehouse to ensure healthy warehouse processes

• Preparation of Internal and External LoPA Audit as per VDA 6.3/ Group Guidelines
• Annual audit preparation in Warehouse internal/external
• Follow up and closure of the action points with help of Warehouse.

Initiating Improvements Projects/Idea Management/QPO to be performed within the Warehouse for Reduction in losses and Cost Improvement.

Training to 3PL on VW Guidelines and Standards
