Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited [Automotive and Farm Equipment Business] is seeking a senior quality leader in India to drive assembly QA, audits, and process improvements. You will guide cross-functional teams, implement robust QC tools, and mentor staff to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include final clearance, audits, defect resolution, and standardising SOPs across manufacturing sites, with focus on Six Sigma and TQM principles.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production Engg, relevant.
• 15-18 years of experience in automotive QA/production.
• Customer centric, leadership and people management skills.
• Strong problem-solving with basic QC tools, auditing, and QA systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts for final vehicle clearance and improve direct pass ratio.
• Coordinate process and system audits and improve audit scores.
• Coordinate final product audits and enhance product audit score.
• Day-to-day problem solving for assembly defects.
• Field visits to understand dealer/customer issues and end-to-end resolution.
• Drive SOP standardisation and quality culture, Swaraj Quality Journey.
