Job summary

Flipkart’s Ekart Nagpur fulfilment facility seeks a Quality Executive to own end-to-end audits and drive process excellence across the supply chain. You will lead root cause analysis, close non-conformances, and implement Lean Six Sigma changes on the shop floor.

The role requires cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Customer Support, and Business Development, with a strong emphasis on data reporting and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Graduate — B.E. (any discipline) or MBA.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, conduct, and document process/product audits.
  • Maintain audit schedules and track quality metrics.
  • Apply sampling schemes and QC tools to evaluate compliance.
  • Highlight deviations on the shop floor and resolve issues with operations.
  • Lead RCA for complaints using QC tools (5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto).
  • Initiate and track CAPA to closure and own NC closure end-to-end.
  • Identify process gaps and drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives (DMAIC, Kaizen, 5S).
  • Prepare quality reports with graphs and dashboards and share with stakeholders.

Job Description Quality Executive

Location: Ekart Fulfilment Centre, Nagpur, Maharashtra Shift: Rotational (including night shifts) Reporting To: Quality Team Lead / Quality Manager

Role Overview

As a Quality Executive at Ekarts Nagpur facility, you will be at the centre of process excellence. You will own end-to-end process and product audits, lead root cause analysis, implement on-floor improvements, close non-conformances, and drive continuous improvement using Lean & Six Sigma methodologies. This is a hands-on role where you directly impact operational excellence across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
Process Audits & Quality Assurance
  • Plan, conduct, and document process/product audits using established procedures.
  • Maintain audit schedules and track Quality Audit metrics.
  • Apply sampling schemes and QC tools to evaluate compliance.
On-Floor Quality Control & Callout Resolution
  • Highlight deviations in real time on the shop floor.
  • Work with operations to resolve issues immediately.
  • Drive corrective actions and document resolution efforts.
Root Cause Analysis & Non-Conformance Closure
  • Lead RCA for complaints and deviations using QC tools (5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto).
  • Initiate and track CAPA to verified closure.
  • Own NC closure process end-to-end.
Process Improvement & Lean Six Sigma Execution
  • Identify process gaps and propose improvements using DMAIC framework.
  • Lead Kaizen events, 5S initiatives, and waste elimination projects.
  • Implement optimization initiatives to reduce cycle time, defects, and costs.
Data Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Prepare quality reports with graphs, charts, and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Customer Support, and Operations.
  • Present metrics and improvement recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate — B.E. (any discipline) or MBA.
  • Freshers or 1–2 years of relevant quality/operations experience.
  • Domain knowledge in Logistics, Courier, Warehouse, Retail, Manufacturing, FMCG, or FMCD.
Technical & Analytical Skills
  • QC Tools: 5 Why, Fishbone/Ishikawa, Flowcharts, Pareto, Control Charts.
  • Lean Six Sigma fundamentals (DMAIC, waste elimination, process optimization).
  • Yellow/Green Belt certification preferred (support available if not yet obtained).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, graphs, metrics tracking).
  • Knowledge of sampling standards and statistical quality control (SQC).
  • Strong RCA and CAPA management skills.
