Responsabilités

• Lead cross-functional and multi-regional project teams from initiation to closure, while adhering to defined organizational process assets.
• Drive large-sized and complex projects, such as new product developments, rollouts, life cycle management, and technology transfers.
• Develop, maintain, and track comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Align project objectives with key stakeholders and secure necessary approvals.
• Drive risk identification, evaluation, and mitigation strategies to safeguard project integrity, including timely escalation of critical risks.
• Represent the project team in governance meetings and manage clear, fact-based decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify organizational roadblocks and behavioral patterns that hinder project success and propose solutions to improve project delivery.
• Collaborate with launch managers to facilitate market readiness and successful product launches.
• Capture, document, and integrate lessons learned to facilitate continuous improvement in project execution.
• Flag opportunities to accelerate delivery by challenging constraints that impact critical-path activities.

Job Purpose

The Senior Project Manager facilitates operational excellence and growth by managing cross-functional and multi-regional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest possible quality. This role enables effective collaboration and communication to deliver complex projects in a resource-constrained environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management

• Lead cross-functional and multi-regional project teams from initiation to closure, while adhering to defined organizational process assets.
• Drive large-sized and complex projects, such as new product developments, rollouts, life cycle management, and technology transfers.
• Develop, maintain, and track comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Align project objectives with key stakeholders and secure necessary approvals.

2. Project Management Office (PMO)

• Provide operational support to the PMO to drive continuous process improvement.
• Update data consistently across project management information systems to support real-time reporting and operational decision-making.
• Support project portfolio management in compiling and analyzing KPIs, roadblocks, and progress, including financials and deviations.
• Contribute to the rollout of PMO tools, templates, and training materials.
• Actively deliver structured feedback to improve the quality and efficiency of PMO practices and business processes.

Competence Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of project management information systems.

3. Administration and Leadership

• Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the project management community and beyond.
• Support the preparation of governance boards, workshops, and departmental meetings.
• Contribute to onboarding newcomers to project management and new project team members by acting as a buddy.
• Coach students by contributing to their work plan in alignment with the PMO.
• Participate in change management initiatives for continuous organizational development.

Competence Requirements

• Competence covered by the project management and PMO roles.
• Very good knowledge of global and local HR SOPs.
