Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day Transformer Production operations at the Taloja plant.
• Plan, schedule and monitor production activities to meet delivery requirements.
• Ensure timely completion of targets while upholding quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with Planning, Design, Purchase, Quality, Testing, Stores and Maintenance.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor production capacity, productivity, efficiency and utilization.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturing processes, drawings and specifications.
• Maintain production records and reports; provide updates to senior management.

About the Role

Telawne Power Equipments Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and technically strong Senior Manager – Production to lead and manage transformer manufacturing operations at our Taloja, Mumbai location.

The ideal candidate should have 18–22 years of relevant experience exclusively in the Transformer Manufacturing Industry, with strong hands‑on experience in production planning, manufacturing processes, manpower management, quality coordination, productivity improvement and timely execution of transformer production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day Transformer Production operations at the Taloja plant.
• Plan, schedule and monitor production activities in line with customer/project delivery requirements.
• Ensure timely completion of production targets while maintaining required quality and safety standards.
• Manage complete manufacturing processes involved in transformer production.
• Coordinate with Planning, Design, Purchase, Quality, Testing, Stores and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth production flow.
• Ensure availability of required raw materials, components, manpower, machinery and tools for uninterrupted production.
• Monitor production capacity, productivity, efficiency and utilization of manpower and equipment.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement effective corrective actions.
• Drive reduction of rejection, rework, wastage and production losses.
• Ensure adherence to approved manufacturing processes, drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
• Monitor production progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Ensure proper utilization and deployment of production manpower across various activities.
• Lead, guide and develop production engineers, supervisors, technicians and workmen.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives wherever applicable.
• Coordinate with Quality and Testing teams to resolve manufacturing-related quality issues.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of production records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, work instructions and company policies.
• Monitor machine/equipment requirements and coordinate with Maintenance for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Drive productivity improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
• Support new product/process development and manufacturing process improvements.
• Ensure effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions related to production.
• Maintain discipline and foster a performance‑oriented culture within the Production team.
