Job summary

Dynamech Electropower in India seeks a seasoned production leader to manage end-to-end production, operations, and target achievement for IDT, power and distribution transformers. You will develop production plans in line with sales needs and drive Lean, Six Sigma and continuous-improvement initiatives while coordinating with QA/QC to ensure quality.

The role requires 12–18 years in transformer manufacturing, strong team management, and ERP/MIS proficiency.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• Experience in transformer manufacturing, IDT & power transformers up to 20 MVA is preferred.
• Strong experience in plant production, production planning, process improvement, designing, testing and team management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end production, operations and achieve daily, monthly, and annual targets for IDT, Power & Distribution Transformers.
• Develop and execute production plans aligned with sales and business needs.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, Six Sigma and other continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and coordinate with QA/QC to minimize defects and complaints.
• Identify bottlenecks, optimize manpower, capacity, materials, and processes, and drive capacity expansion or new product introduction.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end production, operations and ensure achievement of daily, monthly, and annual production targets for IDT , Power & Distribution Transformers.
• Develop and execute production plans in line with sales and business requirements.
• Design understanding and analysis of Power, IDT & Distribution transformers for defect free manufacturing.
• Should be able to understand, analyze & perform testing of IDT & Power transformers.
• Optimize manpower, machine capacity, materials, and production processes.
• Monitor productivity, OEE, yield, rejection, downtime, and production costs.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and coordinate with QA/QC to minimize defects and customer complaints.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, Six Sigma, and other continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Reduce production losses, wastage, rework, downtime, and manufacturing costs.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, statutory, SOP, and company requirements.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, PPC, Stores, Purchase, Engineering, and HR for smooth plant operations.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead capacity expansion, new product introduction, process improvement, and automation projects.
• Develop production MIS and present operational performance to senior management.
• Build a high-performance production team through training, performance management, and succession planning.
• Maintain strong discipline, safety culture, and operational standards across the production function.

Preferred candidate profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline..
• 12-18 years of relevant manufacturing experience in Transformers Manufacturing company (IDT & Power transformers upto 20MVA ).
• Strong experience in plant production, production planning, process improvement, Designing, Testing and team management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large production teams and multiple manufacturing processes.
• Strong understanding of ERP/MIS systems and production KPIs.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
