Job summary

Hammond Power Solutions India in Hyderabad is seeking an Engineer - Maintenance to oversee plant and machinery maintenance, ensure safety, quality, and operational efficiency. You will perform daily maintenance, repairs, and supervise maintenance staff across electrical and mechanical systems.

The ideal candidate holds a BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation with 3–7 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably transformers, and familiarity with TPM, ERP, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical or Instrumentation.
• Experience in manufacturing; transformers preferred.
• 3–7 years in related field; TPM awareness.

Responsibilities

• Ensure plant, machinery and facilities are maintained.
• Achieve operational efficiency, quality and safety.
• Perform daily maintenance and repair of industrial equipment.
• Keep facilities safe and efficient; supervise maintenance.
• Supervise maintenance of production and electrical equipment.
• Maintain facilities maintenance schedule.
• Perform and supervise maintenance-related repairs.
• Manage equipment and supplies for safe operation.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained.
• Review daily work orders and provide reports.
• Schedule the shift of maintenance personnel.

Job Responsibilities and Impact

• 1. Ensure plant and machinery and facilities management are maintained
• 2. Expected operational efficiency, quality environment and safety.
• 3. Will be responsible for performing daily maintenance and repair of industrial equipment.
• 4. Responsible for ensuring our facilities are maintained in a safe and efficient manner.
• 5. Supervise the maintenance of production and electrical equipment.
• 6. Maintain the facilities maintenance schedule.
• 7. Perform and supervise maintenance related repairs
• 8. Maintain equipment and supplies to ensure safe operation of the facility
• 9. Inspect and troubleshoot equipment
• 10. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained
• 11. Review daily work orders and provide reports
• 12. Scheduling the shift of the Maintenance person
• 13. Review all documentation to ensure proper data collection
• 14. Lead, train and supervise maintenance workers
• 15. Drafting maintenance reports.
• 16. Maintain critical spares of critical equipment as per requirement in maintenance store

Qualitifications and Skills

• 19. B.E / B. Tech Electrical Engineering or Mechanical or Instrumentation.
• 20. Experience in manufacturing industry, preferably from transformers industry.
• 21. Minimum 3-7years' experience in related field. Knowledge of new technologies and latest trends in equipment used in transformers.
• 22. Awareness of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
• 23. Understand process flow and should be able to identify bottle necks.
• 24. Skill in managing team and mentoring all support departments including Production department.
• 25. Should have good knowledge on MS office and ERP system.
