Job summary

hfslogistics is seeking a DGM/GM Design to lead design strategy for residential, commercial, and industrial projects in MMR. You will oversee planning, feasibility, and coordination across design and engineering teams, ensuring compliance with local by-laws and company standards.

Ideal candidate holds a B.Arch or M.Arch with 15+ years of relevant experience and strong leadership capabilities to drive projects from concept through construction in a fast-paced environment.

• 15+ years of experience in residential and commercial design.
• Thorough knowledge of local by-laws and regulatory requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor design of projects from drawing board to construction.
• Conduct initial feasibility studies, concept design and schematic reviews.
• Coordinate with design consultants to verify drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with vendors and consultants (structural, MEP, landscape).
• Prepare templates for standardization of design/drawings and specs.
• Prepare and submit approvals and drawings for NOCs.
• Certification and data provision for RERA.
• Evaluate regulatory impacts of design changes with Liaison team.
• Conduct market study of competitors to understand trends.

Job description

Key Purpose of the job :

Responsible for design strategy, project planning, liaison and approvals for residential, commercial, industrial, landscaping projects in MMR

Operational deliverables:

1. 1. To plan and monitor the design of projects from drawing board till construction stage by ensuring proper design drawings, documents and specifications as per company standards
2. 2. Conduct initial project feasibility study, concept design and schematic review
3. 3. Coordinate with Design consultants to verify design drawings and other specifications
4. 4. Coordinate with vendors and consultants like structural consultants, MEP consultants, parking, landscape, greenfield consultants etc
5. 5. Prepare templates for standardization for design and drawings across elements such as material list, parameters for cost effective projects, specifications, parameters for designing, etc for
6. 6. Prepare and submit approval and drawings for various NOCs
7. 7. Certification and data provision for RERA
8. 8. Evaluate the impact of changes in design from a regulatory and statutory perspective in coordination with the Liaison team
9. 9. Market Study of Competitor projects to understand industry norms and trends
