Job summary

JobItUs in Gujarat, India seeks an experienced HR leader to drive policy, compliance and employee relations across the plant. You will oversee PMS, recruitment, payroll inputs, training, and facilities coordination, ensuring alignment with Indian Labour Laws and safety standards.

The role requires 15–20 years of HR experience, with at least 4 years in Talent Management or HR leadership. MBA preferred. You will lead a high-energy team and partner with EHS to sustain a productive workplace.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR policies, statutory compliance & labour laws across plant.
• Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions and conflicts.
• Lead PMS, learning & development and talent management initiatives.
• Plan and execute training & development programs for workers and management.
• Handle end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for permanent and contract staff.
• Oversee attendance, payroll inputs, shift allowances, compensation & benefits.
• Coordinate with EHS for workplace safety and HR activities.
• Maintain HR records and MIS/HR analytics on KPIs.
• Support HR during plant expansion, shutdowns and new line installations.
• Oversee facilities management, security, housekeeping and vendor coordination.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage HR policies, statutory compliance & labour laws including Factories Act, EPF, ESI, Minimum Wages, Contract Labour, etc.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions and conflict resolution.
• Lead performance management (PMS), talent management and employee development initiatives.
• Plan and execute training & development programs for workers, supervisors, middle and senior management.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for permanent and contract employees.
• Oversee attendance, payroll inputs, shift allowances, compensation & benefits.
• Coordinate with EHS for workplace safety, safety committees and accident-related HR activities.
• Maintain HR records and prepare MIS/HR analytics covering absenteeism, turnover, recruitment and other KPIs.
• Manage HR requirements during plant expansion, shutdowns and new line installations.
• Oversee facilities management, security, housekeeping, catering, maintenance and vendor coordination.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Indian Labour Laws & Factory HR practices.
• Hands-on experience in PMS, Learning & Development and Talent Management.
• Manufacturing/Factory HR experience with strong employee relations exposure.
• Good command of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and HRIS.
• Strong communication skills in English, Hindi & Gujarati.

Pre-requisite:

Minimum 15–20 years of overall experience, including 4+ years in Talent Management/HR leadership roles. MBA preferred.
