Job summary

Rekrut India seeks an experienced HR leader to oversee strategic and operational HR across multiple manufacturing locations, driving lifecycle HR activities, policy governance, and employee engagement. The role requires strong experience in multi-location HR management, recruitment, PMS, L&D and IR.

The incumbent will partner with plant heads and leaders to translate business needs into meaningful HR initiatives, ensuring compliance and effective contract labour governance across all sites.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the HR team across all three locations.
  • Partner with business and functional leaders on manpower, organization, talent and people priorities.
  • Drive consistent HR policies, practices and governance across locations.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable HR initiatives.
  • Lead annual manpower planning and manpower-cost budgeting.
  • Drive end-to-end recruitment for managerial, functional and critical positions.
  • Monitor recruitment TAT, vacancy ageing, offer-to-join ratio and sourcing effectiveness.
  • Build succession and talent pipelines for critical positions.
  • Lead the Performance Management System and ensure timely goal setting and performance reviews.
  • Drive talent identification, talent reviews and succession planning.
  • Identify critical talent and employee retention risks.
  • Implement Individual Development Plans and development actions.
  • Lead Training Need Identification and annual training planning.
  • Drive technical, behavioral, leadership and functional development programs.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and capability development.
  • Strengthen skill matrices and competency development.
  • Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives across locations.
  • Drive employee-connect programs, surveys, town halls, rewards and recognition.
  • Strengthening workplace culture, employee communication and retention.
  • Analyze employee feedback and ensure action-plan closure.
  • Maintain healthy employee and industrial relations.
  • Manage employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
  • Guide HR teams on show cause notices, charge sheets, enquiries and corrective actions.
  • Monitor absenteeism, workforce discipline and employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labour and employment laws.
  • Maintain statutory compliance calendars and monitor timely filings.
  • Ensure compliance relating to PF, ESIC, minimum wages, bonus, gratuity, factories and contract labour.
  • Coordinate statutory audits, inspections and closure of observations.
  • Ensure effective governance of contract labour across manufacturing locations.
  • Monitor contractor manpower, attendance, wage compliance and deployment.
  • Conduct contractor compliance reviews.
  • Ensure contractor documentation, licenses, PF, ESIC and statutory records are maintained.
  • Ensure principal-employer obligations are complied with.
  • Ensure smooth management of joining, onboarding, probation, confirmation, transfers, promotions, employee movements and separations.
  • Ensure employee records and HR master data are accurate.
  • Strengthen HR policies, SOPs and employee-service processes.
  • Develop and review dashboards covering headcount, manpower cost, recruitment, attrition, absenteeism, training, talent, PMS and compliance.
  • Provide actionable people insights to senior management.
  • Drive HR process automation and data accuracy.

Role & responsibilities The incumbent will be responsible for providing strategic and operational HR leadership across the complete employee lifecycle and will lead the HR team across all locations. The role requires a strong manufacturing HR professional with experience in multi-location HR management, talent acquisition, performance management, talent management, learning & development, employee engagement, industrial relations, statutory compliance, contract labour management and administration.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIESHR

Leadership & Business Partnership
  • Lead and develop the HR team across all three locations.
  • Partner with business and functional leaders on manpower, organization, talent and people priorities.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • 1518 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Strong manufacturing / automotive / engineering industry exposure.
  • Experience leading an HR team.
  • Experience handling HR across multiple plants or locations.
  • Strong Plant HR and HR Generalist experience.
  • Hands-on exposure to IR, statutory compliance and contract labour.
  • Strong Talent Management, PMS, L&D and employee-engagement experience.
  • Experience interacting with Plant Heads, HODs and senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Willingness to be based at Rajkot and travel frequently across locations.
