Job summary

Skillventory in Gujarat seeks an experienced production leader to supervise end-to-end Hot Forming operations for syringe manufacturing. You will drive planning, yield improvement, maintenance and process optimization to meet quality targets.

Ideal candidates hold a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical or Production Engineering, with 10–20 years in glass manufacturing and strong TPM, Six Sigma and GMP exposure. MS Office, Power BI and PowerPoint skills are preferred.

• Lead end-to-end hot forming production operations for syringe manufacturing.
• 10-20 years of experience in Glass Manufacturing.
• Green Belt Six Sigma certification will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Power BI, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Hot Forming production operations for syringe manufacturing.
• Drive production planning, yield improvement, machine maintenance, and process optimization.
• Monitor KPIs including OEE, downtime, and changeover efficiency.
• Implement Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure GMP, SOPs, CAPA, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, SCM, Utility, Stores, and HR for seamless operations.
• Lead audits and ensure audit readiness.
• Manage manpower planning, team development, workplace safety, and 5S implementation.
• Prepare production MIS reports and analyze operational trends for continuous improvement.

Monitor key manufacturing KPIs including OEE, downtime, and changeover efficiency.

Implement Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, CAPA, and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, SCM, Utility, Stores, and HR for seamless operations.

Lead customer and regulatory audits while ensuring audit readiness.

Manage manpower planning, team development, workplace safety, and 5S implementation.

Prepare production MIS reports and analyze operational trends for continuous improvement.

Preferred candidate profile

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering.

10-20 years of experience in Glass Manufacturing.

Strong expertise in Production Operations, Glass Technology, TPM, Process Improvement, and Manpower Management.

Green Belt Six Sigma certification will be an added advantage.

Proficiency in MS Office, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
