Qualifications

Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Polymer Technology or Plastics Engineering.
14–18 years experience in Injection Moulding Division (IMD).
Minimum 5–8 years in a managerial role.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage 4M resources to meet production targets.
Adhere to monthly/annual production plans while optimizing OEE/OME and capacity.
Drive yield improvement, cost reduction and operational excellence across IMD.
Ensure Right First Time production by complying with customer quality, process controls and QMS.
Monitor scrap, RP, cycle losses and material wastage with continuous improvements.
Lead Lean, Kaizen, 5S and other initiatives to improve efficiency.
Coordinate preventive maintenance and asset management for reliability.
Review daily performance, analyze deviations and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with Planning, Stores, Purchase, Tool Room, Quality, Maintenance and Assembly.
Ensure SOP/EHS compliance and organizational policies.
Develop team capability through training, coaching and engagement.
Prepare and present production, quality, productivity, cost and OPEX performance via MIS.

The role is responsible for optimizing manpower, machine utilization, material consumption, process efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives to support the organization's Annual Business Plan.

Ensure adherence to monthly and annual production planswhile optimizing OEE, OME, productivity, and capacity utilization.
Drive yield improvement, cost reduction, and operationalexcellence initiatives across IMD operations.
Ensure "Right First Time" production bymaintaining customer quality requirements, process controls, and QMScompliance.
Monitor and reduce scrap, reprocessed material (RP),cycle losses, and raw material wastage through continuous process improvement.
Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and other continuousimprovement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Ensure machine availability and reliability througheffective coordination of preventive maintenance and asset managementactivities.
Review daily production performance, analyze deviations,and implement corrective and preventive actions to achieve operational targets.
Coordinate with Planning, Stores, Purchase, Tool Room,Quality, Maintenance, and Assembly teams for seamless manufacturing operations.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, EHS standards, statutoryrequirements, and organizational policies.
