Job summary

Skillventory is seeking an experienced leader to head Hot Forming production operations for syringe manufacturing in India. You will drive end-to-end manufacturing, ensure daily targets and quality, and coordinate with Engineering, Quality and SCM to deliver on time.

The role requires 12-18 years in glass manufacturing, strong expertise in Lean, TPM, Six Sigma and GMP compliance. You will oversee budgeting, audits, safety, and continuous process improvement across shifts.

Qualifications

• :Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Production Engineering.
• :Experience: 12-18 years in a Glass Manufacturing company.
• Strong experience in Glass Technology, Production & Operations.
• Experience in Hot Forming / Glass Packaging / Syringe manufacturing will be relevant.
• Strong knowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, OEE and process improvement.
• Knowledge of GMP, CAPA, RCA, audits and SOP compliance.
• Ability to handle multiple compliance and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end Hot Forming production operations for syringe manufacturing.
• Ensure achievement of daily production targets, quality standards and timelines.
• Plan production schedules, yield improvement, machine maintenance, modifications and shutdown activities.
• Monitor and improve OEE, downtime and changeover time.
• Drive process optimization, Lean, TPM and Six Sigma initiatives.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, SCM, Utilities, Stores, HR and other departments.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, CAPA, RCA and documentation requirements.
• Lead internal, external, customer and regulatory audits and ensure audit readiness.
• Manage OPEX/CAPEX budgets and drive cost optimization.
• Analyze production KPIs/DPRs and prepare MIS reports for senior management.
• Ensure 5S, EHS and safety standards across the production area.
• Manage manpower planning, resource allocation, training and team development.
• Handle customer visits and technical queries related to the syringe Hot Forming process.
